Privacy Policy

Selika is a service operated by MOONSCALE LLC("Selika", "we", "us"), an e-commerce platform that lets merchants create and run online stores. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to selika.io and the Selika dashboard and stores.

1. Information we collect

• Account data — your name, email, and password (hashed) when you register.
• Store & product data — the stores, products, pages, and settings you create.
• Order data — information your customers submit at checkout (name, phone, delivery address, items ordered) so you can fulfil orders.
• Usage data — basic logs and analytics needed to operate and secure the service.

2. Google user data

The Google Sheets export is optional and only active if you connect it. When you do, you authorise Selika through Google OAuth with a narrowly-scoped permission (drive.file) to create and manage a single spreadsheet that Selika uses to export your store's orders. Specifically:

• Access is limited to files Selika creates or opens for this feature. Selika cannot see, read, or modify any other files in your Google Drive.
• We use this access solelyto write your store's order data into that spreadsheet — nothing else.
• We store the OAuth tokens Google issues, secured, only to perform these writes on your behalf. You can revoke access at any time from Settings → Integrations → Disconnect, or from your Google Account permissions page.
• Limited Use.Selika's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
• We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or transfer it to third parties except as needed to provide this export feature or as required by law. We do not use Google user data to train generalised AI/ML models.

3. How we use your information

• To operate your stores, process and display orders, and provide the dashboard.
• To provide optional integrations you enable (e.g. Google Sheets export, payments).
• To secure the service, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
• To contact you about your account and service updates.

4. How we store and protect data

Data is stored on managed infrastructure (database and object storage) with access controls and encryption in transit. OAuth tokens and passwords are never stored in plain text.

5. Sharing & third parties

We share data only with service providers that help us run Selika, including:

• Hosting & database providers (to store your data).
• Payment providers (to process subscription payments you choose to make).
• Google (only for the Sheets export you connect).

We do not sell your personal data.

6. Data retention & deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete a store, disconnect integrations, or request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the address below. Disconnecting Google Sheets immediately stops all access and removes the stored tokens.

7. Your rights

You may access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to secure the service, and limited analytics to understand usage.

9. Children

Selika is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16.

10. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
